Hypnotic Therapy
Whilst listening to a hypnosis instructor, he spoke of the true story of the African violet lady of milkwakee. A lady in her 50’s who was socially isolated because of chronic health conditions. Who was advised by the famous hypnotist Milton Erikson to utilise her skill of plant growing to connect with her local community. She used her churches notice board to find people to gift a plant to. These people then became her friends & she had over 2000 people at her wake.
With the care & attention given to her plants, she was learning to nurture resilience for herself. Pushing through her depressive state, with a gentleness & self given grace. When passing that plant, to those new friends, this helped to strengthen the positive energy chords. Maintaining a long lasting effect throughout the rest of her life. Connecting her with the larger community.
An amazing story, which shows the power & benefits of therapeutic hypnosis. In my blog, feeling shifts, I highlight how a shamanistic healer, used hypnotic induction to help me connect better with the other realms & shift through some stagnant energies, that were holding me back.
This is an interesting synchronicity for me, because I was looking into getting a couple of African violets last year. I was put off, by reading that they are difficult to maintain. Being quite the fussy plant. I’m generally better with out door plants than indoor ones. Many a time I’ve had clients feel drawn to my garden. Being a keen gardener, I love to grown & nurture my own foods & perennials. It’s the energy that you spend tending to the plants, that stays within the land.
When researching what the land was here on my property, I learned that it used to be farm land. I have seen Earth bound spirits peeking over the fence at me, whilst I’ve been outside. I also see elemental beings from time to time too.
Having recently created a friendship group, as it’s socially isolating working alone from home, this is a pleasant reminder that I’m on the right path. Reminding me to utilise my skills of communication to connect with new people & network in the local areas.
I hold a keen interest in past life regression. I’d like to learn to do this for others in the long term, as a future goal to work towards. During my spiritual awakening in 2020, I’ve had many energetic connections with my own past lives. Whilst it’s a very daunting & confusing experience, it’s teaching me that anyone can connect with it. To push through old patterns of holding in the body & connective tissues.
